If your parents separated and/or divorced, please feel free to share your experiences and how it affected you in various ways. Share what you felt whether it was loss or relief or pain or safety and how it affected you over time. Were you married? Did it affect your marriage? Were you afraid to marry afterward? What did you see in your parents’ lives in how it affected them? Was the divorce one-sided or did your parents agree? Did you experience depression or did this experience help mature you or hurt you and cause you to go through trouble you otherwise would not have gone through?
